Maarten Mennes is a Dutch project developer and entrepreneur in the renewable energy industry. He has worked for the Dutch T.S.O TenneT on the 700MW HVDC Interconnector project connecting the Dutch HV grid with the Danish HV grid. He has led greenfield development of solar PV projects in the Netherlands and Spain totalling 90MW of installed capacity. He now strives to create impact in Africa by developing projects and arranging financing from the Netherlands, which is the reason he joined AAAS energy to fully commit to this goal. He holds a Master´s Degree in Physical Chemistry.
