He is the coordinator, National Electric Mobility (eMobility) since 2021.
He oversees the policy framework development of the national eMobility, the plan to manufacture EVs and the whole value chain including amongst others, the charging stations and batteries.
Dr. Maje has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology (MST) in USA, (2004)
He also has an MSc from Vinnytsia National Technical University in Ukraine, USSR (1989).
He taught graduate and undergraduate classes at the University of Botswana, Faculty of Engineering in the department of Electrical Engineering for over two decades and at MST as part time lecturer.
After graduation from Ukraine, he took a job as Signals and Communications engineer and then Head of the Communications department with Botswana Railways.
Achievements:He is the current Council Chairman of Limkokwing University (Botswana).
Dr. Maje has served in different boards, both private and parastatal.
To mention just a few of the parastatals he served, he is a former board member of Botswana Digital & Innovation Hub; Botswana Institute for Technology, Research & Innovation; Botswana Communications Regulatory Authority; Botswana Telecommunications Authority and Botswana Technology Centre.
