Honourable Beauty M. Manake is the Assistant Minister of Trade and Industry, Botswana. She holds a BSc in Information Systems from the University of Botswana, an MSc in Food and Agribusiness Management from Audencia in France and an MBA in Agricultural Business and Marketing from ESPM in Brazil.
Hon. Manake has over 17 years of experience in trade, investment and industry, particularly in agribusiness value chain and primary industries. She started her career as a Systems Technologist for Debswana and the Diamond Trading Company (DTC) and resigned at 25 to start an agribusiness and farming career. Honourable Manake is a seasoned transformational development advocate with work experience from several reputable local and international companies on business development and corporate social responsibility (CSR). She has represented Botswana in several global investment, trade and industry forums, earning the country’s current international investment reputation.
